I'm Tyler Brunner; a media professional, sports broadcaster and journalist, and podcast creator. I currently work at Carroll Broadcasting Company as the Assistant Sports Director and as an On-Air Personality. I have continued to push my skills to new levels, created lasting impacts at my places of employment, and proved my skills are not to be overlooked. My constant pursuit of success has given me various opportunities in the media world and even a full-time professional radio job where I continue to learn and grow.

My broadcasting career kick-started in 2016, where I was the news director of KBVU 97.5 The Edge. During my time at KBVU, I held roles as promotions director, podcast director, and station manager. That organization taught me the skills it takes to be successful in radio broadcasting, which includes creating informational radio shows and educational podcasts. This gained knowledge led me to becoming the News Assistant at KCII Radio in Washington, Iowa, and eventually to where I am today as the Assistant Sports Director and On-Air Personality at the Carroll Broadcasting Company in Carroll, Iowa.

Other skills that I have developed include graphic design, social media marketing, play-by-play commentary, and more. Through internships with Buena Vista University's Sports Information Department and the Carroll Merchants Baseball Organization, I have built skills that will only help my current employer reach new heights and compete with other stations around us. 

I've learned failure is the stepping stone that creates the road to success, and I'm here to walk that path no matter what it takes!
